We love to feature collaborative works with talented artists. And have successfully worked with Sean Dietrich in the past. Genius fans may be familiar with a few of his works that were a part of our Limited Collection. And as we retired them we are happy to introduce two new ones.
A word from the artist:
As far as having my artwork put on Genius Pipes, the decision was simple once I saw the product. The pipes are elegant and, at first glimpse, look like something Apple computers would have designed. Genius Pipes are far from the norm and the obvious, which fits in with the direction my art strives to take, so to partner with them on some cool designs just made sense...
...The 2nd painting features my spokeswoman Vera Vickers. This time the painting revolves around the glass blowing work of Henry Grindrod, his glass ray guns are featured as Vera's weapon of choice, stolen off of the bodies of the dead invading aliens (Michelobeos) These guns in person are true works of art, bringing a new edge to the glass blowing world, and of course, it's right up my alley. As I was set to display art at the Edwardian Ball in San Francisco, which is the premier Steampunk Ball, I set the painting in that era, dressing Vera in the appropriate gear and featuring steam-powered submarines and a hot air balloon battle with the Michelobeos. - Sean Dietrich
